The Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has announced that Public University Students have been exempted from utility bills from the next academic year.

According to him, this decision by government to absorb the utility bills is to lessen the financial burden on students and increase access to tertiary education. Dr. Opoku Prempeh, made this known while speaking at the third edition of the Nation Building Updates in Accra on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.https://nkaros.data.blog

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh bragged that the Akufo-Addo led government was the first to introduce a tertiary education policy that contains better interventions aimed at improving the sector.

He also announced that the Prez Akufo-Addo’s government intends to construct the first-ever Creative Arts secondary schools as model SHSs to enable students interested in music, dance and oratory to have the opportunity to develop their skills.
